Adipex (phentermine) can be recommended for patients diagnosed with obesity that are unable or find it really hard to lose any of their weight without external help. It's important that you take Adipex exactly as prescribed, usually once a day in the morning at least 10 hours before going to bed, as otherwise sleep problems may be experienced. Always take Adipex exactly as recommended and avoid using more of this medicine than prescribed. The following symptoms may be experienced if you take too much of Adipex: confusion, seizure, hallucinations, tremors, nausea, confusion, stomach pain, aggressiveness, vomiting, diarrhea, and irregular heartbeat. If you happened to take too much of this medicine, make sure you report the symptoms experienced to your local emergency center to get help. Make sure you inform your doctor of any drugs you are already taking or are planning on taking that may potentially interfere with the effects of Adipex, such as guanethidine, guanadrel, high blood pressure meds, antidepressants, oral insulin or diabetes medications, and any other products of that kind you are taking, including any prescription or over-the-counter medications. If you get some mild side effects - there is no need to worry, as they tend to be short-lived and go away on their own without any need for you to report them to your doctor.
